Our Mission
The Goal and Mission of the NBRFC is to provide High School Athletes of Collier County in South West Florida with
an opportunity to learn and excel at the sport of Rugby, where they will grow and develop athletic, interpersonal and leadership
skills as well as form lasting friendships with team mates and opponents alike.
NBRFC is open to all Collier County High School Students who want to learn and experience the safest and most exciting
contact team sport in the world.
Our History
NBRFC was founded in 2005 along with the creation of the Florida High School Rugby League which started with 6 teams,
and now is made up of 18 Clubs across the sunshine state with a north and south division. In 2007 we achieved
an 2nd undefeated season against Florida which lead us to a 3rd straight year as State Champions and the honor of representing
Florida in the USA Rugby South National Championship Finals held in New Orleans where we placed 4th.
We also had the honor to have two of our players selected to play for the United States Under 17 & 18 Teams.
This last December Shane Young our A-Side Scrum Half and Captain was selected to play for the U-19 United States
Team which played against the U-19 National Team of Australia.
